The NM SAR will be holding our 2nd annual member / family picnic at Wingfield Park in Ruidoso, NM. This event is an opportunity for us to gather with members from around the state that we don't often see and enjoy camaraderie and a lunch together. 
Lunch will be provided by Brian Mirau, Mirau Capital Management - Ruidoso.
Every person attending will be given one door prize ticket for a variety of items. In addition, raffle tickets will be sold for a portable propane grill with accessories, donated by Compatriot Curtiss. Proceeds will be for the Gadsden chapter charitable fund. Additional items may be added.

Come for the day or plan on staying overnight to explore what Ruidoso has to offer, such as the Wind Rider zipline at Ski Apache; Screaming Eagle mountain coaster at Winter Park, 121 Ski Run Rd.; Wibit floating playground at Grindstone Lake; fishing at Grindstone, Alto and Bonito lakes; Smokey Bear park / museum and burial place of Smokey Bear, Capitan; tours of Old Lincoln, site of Billy the Kid's jailbreak or historic Fort Stanton - short drives from Ruidoso; quarter horse racing at Ruidoso Downs racetrack and 3 casinos in the area to try your luck.
